Heart of Glass: It is inside us all.

"Hold him over the light, he loves the light!
You see how the light shines through him?"

--Tennessee Williams, The Glass Menagerie.

Hello, and welcome to my DOLLHOUSE. This site is a shrine to my precious little darlings, the beautiful dolls upon whom I choose to lavish my time, my affection-- and of course, my paycheck! ^_~

For a doll, my children, is a perfect friend, quiet and wise-- with an ear to listen and a bright, glass eye to see! And when we are not watching them, our dolls have such adventures as we cannot even imagine... This is a true thing, and a wondrous thing.

Though I am all grown up now, I believe we must, to be healthy and sane adults, keep something of our childhood with us, forever loved and cherished, and it is with that in mind that I created this site.

The name for my site comes from the wonderful play by Tennessee Williams, The Glass Menagerie, which you should all see if you have a chance-- or should at least buy a copy of and read. My own copy is quite well-loved and dogeared! I first read Menagerie when I was twelve years old, and it had a profound effect on me. Williams was truly an incredible artist!
